             abstract = "The Brazilian Cerrado, comprising the largest and most important 
                         neotropical savanna ecosystems in the world and the major 
                         agricultural frontier in the country, demands a research network 
                         capable of promoting the through social and environmental 
                         knowledge about this still unknown and seriously threatened biome. 
                         Within this context, and by initiative of the Ministry of Science, 
                         Technology, and Innovation, the ComCerrado network (Rede de 
                         Ci{\^e}ncia e Tecnologia para a Conserva{\c{c}}{\~a}o e Uso 
                         Sustent{\'a}vel do Cerrado) was implemented, aiming at the 
                         integration of distinct research groups and dissemination of 
                         knowledge regarding the multiple Cerrado dimensions. To this end, 
                         the Image Processing and GIS Lab (LAPIG Universidade Federal de 
                         Goi{\'a}s), the geomatic ComCerrado node, recently developed a 
                         web-based research plataform, whose main components, including 
                         tools for accessing and retrieving raster and vector datasets, are 
                         presented, for the first time, in this paper. Through this new 
                         plataform, time-series (2000 2012) of nine biophysical products 
                         (e.g. vegetation index, evapotranspiration, precipitation, etc.), 
                         over the entire biome area, and approximately 130 GIS layers (e.g. 
                         burned areas, deforestation warnings, etc) are currently 
                         available, at ready-to-use public formats.",
